I used 3 drops on each leg, and just dotted it up my calves and lightly rubbed it in. I used it for about 5 nights, and have not had a problem with it since.
I would NOT let them deaden my nerves! Listen, about 15 years ago all my problems first manifested in my feet. I was walking on the outsides of my feet, as the when I tried to walk flat on my feet it felt like I was walking on glass. I didn't have doTERRA back then. Docs put me on everything trying to fix problem. Xrays showed nothing. Foot docs had no idea what was causing the pain.
Today, I would go to everythingessential.me and follow Dr. Hill's protocol for the neuropathy. Key is to be consistent in doing it every single day. Take time to care for you! Do it. And get someone to do the AT technique on your spine. Download a copy of the Foot and Hand chart on that site, and try the oils using that chart.
Keep working, to find the oils that work for you. They do work! Just find the problem and go after it.
Blessings,
Maria

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Pain in feet and legs
Maria ~ can you share how much lemongrass you used and where? thank you! I am having issues with my feet, the doctors would like to go in and deaden the nerves in both of my feet.... I'm not going there. However, it has kept me from doing a lot! I have been doing better, however, I went on a hike with my 6 year old on Monday and here it is Friday and my feet are still aching, and when my toes move the pain shots. I won't have the nerves deadend, but I really WANT to be able to do more. Thanks so much! I am using aromatouch and wintergreen on my feet..... (I'm not always good about it, except when the pain flairs up) I do take the LLV and phytoestrogen.
Thank you in advance!

I think Aroma Touch oil, Cypress, and Balance on the feet every day, then wrap with hot damp towels with a dry towel around that for about 30 minutes might help a lot if you can get him to do that every day, he might see pain disappear.

severe foot and leg pain in a 60 yr old man with type 2 diabetes.
The doctor has told him that the leg pain is from restless leg syndrome but he only get's limited relief from the
medication he was put on. I truly believe that his pain is caused by the diabetes.
This is someone who is very special to me and all in my family and we truly need all the help we can
get to get him back to feeling better.
We have him using the deep blue for pain and grapefruit for circulation, (to be used both topically and internally)
And are trying to get him on the wellness trio.
Thanks for all the wonderful help everyone gives and for all of you wonderful people who are so willing to give.
I can not thank any of you enough.--
