I am fairly new to these oils myself, one of the first things I did was to get droppers from AromaTools. Now I only switch them out when I know better how I will use the oils (like droppers could be less practical when giving an aromatouch). Take care though not to let the bottle rest on its side with the dropper as the dropper will begin to deteriorate.

Another thing I like to do it have diluted amounts ready to go, usually in a roller bottle. But even then not wasting oil can depend on if one is applying it, or one's 3yo ;-)

In agreement with "less quantity more frequently" I like to carry sample sizes of the oils with me in my purse. It also makes it easier to get smaller drops out (does anyone know/guesstimate on average how many shakes to get a full drop's worth? lol)

And how much carier oil per drop do I need...I fear I am not using enough and thus, using more oil than I need.

 

Out of curiosity, later I plan to sit down and figure out how much each drop costs of each oil...just so I can see if I am really saving money....or if I am wasting more money than I should by using more EO's than I need.

 

Does anybody here have any little tricks or tips they can share with me about how NOT to waste the EO's so I can get the most of my little bottles??  Thanks.
