What would you use on dogs to get rid for the fatty tumors on the chest area. I have min pins and labs.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: new to doterra

As long as they are listed to be used internally (not all oils and blends are) I don't see why not. It will however not taste good at all!! I would suggest you get some veggie caps and take the oils that way. Also remember that less more often is best and that you only need a drop or two.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Sales Tax on Everything

Hey Everyone.  I know this is a little bit late in the posting process but I have an answer for you about the tax on shipping.  OK...

First of all...  Every enrollment order or Internet order that is not a Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) order is taxed on retail prices.  This is because there is no way to specify that the product is being used for personal use.  Even if it is a wholesale account and it isn't marked "for personal use"  (LRP order) it will be charged on retail pricing and  be charged tax on shipping because it can be sold as retail... therefore retail tax is applied.  All LRP orders that are marked for "personal use" are charged tax on wholesale and are eligible for Shipping Rewards points.  Example:  If the shipping costs $8.99 then the company gives back $9.00 in Shipping Rewards points to be used towards free product the next month, thus, the shipping is a wash.  This is doTERRA's way of rewarding it's LRP members even more.  Moral of the story...  Enroll today in the Loyalty Rewards Program!  There is only a $50 a month requirement and you not only earn Shipping Rewards points you also earn LRP points towards free products.

Some of my team members have asked why doTERRA charges sales tax on shipping and on enrollment fees. They say no other company they've worked with does this. Is there something about the laws in Utah that makes it necessary to do this? Does anyone know?

Janis, that was absolutely how I started as well. terrashield and balance were my intro oils. went hiking with some friends around a lake in mid- August, and not a single mosquito bite to show for it. one of my daughters has pretty severe ADHD. we gave her a drop of balance on the back of her neck, and within 2 minutes, she was as calm as a light summer breeze. I was floored. from that moment on, I told my wife that whatever oil she wants, she gets. we're up to about 45 right now. :)

[Everything doTERRA] ADHD: oil to use

Hello, I am new to doTerra oils. I was told that we have an oil or combination of oils that I can use for ADHD. Does anyone know which one or ones I need to order. And do you know if they really work? My 7 year old is on medication for her ADHD and has lost like 25lbs. Her teacher as well as myself are concerned. She gets real nervous and shaky at times. Her Dr. seems to think she is ok. Can anyone help me?

[Everything doTERRA] Re: applying oil to feet

Thanks to everyone for your quick replies! I'll try using some coconut oil on my feet before and/or with the frankincense. I might try some of the other oils you suggested for sleep too... I think I have some lavendar around, and I'd like to try some others. I've heard switching up the oils can be helpful anyway, instead of always using the same thing.

My feet are also dry so I put a little of the unscented lotion from doterra in my palm then add whatever oil I'm using rub together a little and apply to my feet. Then I massage it in a bit. My husband loves it when I do this for him. And like Pat said Serenity is great for sleep. It's what I use only hubby and self. I also take a capsule with about 5 drops of clary Sage before bed. The two together help me stay asleep and go back if I wake to use the bathroom in the night. I'm old enough that my hormones are lower with menopause so I wonder if the Clary Sage may be balancing them for me.

My son is 23 suffers from seizures and has bouts with chronic bronchitis. As I research I find that On Guard is used often for chronic bronchitis with great results but as he suffers with seizures it notes caution not to use. What oil would be the best to use? Thanks for your feedback.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] New modern essentials

I made this for my team:

Feel free to print it and leave it in your book. Also in the back of the book are pages where you can write the blend names down for easy reference.

I tell my team that I think it is better to learn the generic names, it helps to associate what they do. For example OnGuard is protective blend.

Hope it helps!

Have a healthy day!

I love the section tabs but LOVE using our little bottle stickers. I just peel and stick the name of each oil onto the photo of the bottle or next to the blend name! Easy Peasy and cheap!

[Everything doTERRA] TerraGreen Question

I found a few years ago when I was put on a similar tasting mix by my natural path that I didn't like the taste at first. But later after I got used to it if I missed a day I really missed the greens too. I got used to the taste but better yet I felt so much better when I took it that Missed it. It made me want to gag when I started. These terra greens taste similarly to me. Give yourself some some time to get used to them and then see if you don't feel better and like them more. It's a little like getting your kids to eat their vegetables. Just keep trying. Adding fruit does help and experimenting with different milks does too. I personally like to mix mine in a blender with a few pieces of frozen fruit. Makes a great smoothie. I also put it together with the S&S shake

[Everything doTERRA] applying oil to feet

My feet are also dry so I put a little of the unscented lotion from doterra in my palm then add whatever oil I'm using rub together a little and apply to my feet. Then I massage it in a bit. My husband loves it when I do this for him. And like Pat said Serenity is great for sleep. It's what I use only hubby and self. I also take a capsule with about 5 drops of clary Sage before bed. The two together help me stay asleep and go back if I wake to use the bathroom in the night. I'm old enough that my hormones are lower with menopause so I wonder if the Clary Sage may be balancing them for me.

[Everything doTERRA] Mouth problems from detox

Hello everyone.  I need some suggestions please.

I have been in parasite detox for over a year.  I was off over the summer and had to go back on in September.  I have a situation that is causing me a lot of concern and discomfort.

A year ago, I put coconut oil on my scalp and a colony of worms crawled to my face on both sides (which was very painful and swollen for 2 weeks!).  Since then, my teeth and gums have been declining - the dentist says there is nothing wrong but that I needed deep cleaning.  Even did the cancer screening and said that was fine.

My mouth however feels raw inside.  While at convention I got a canker sore which I never do.  It just got bigger and bigger no matter what I put on it.  (It did clear up after a week with the Correct X).  My lips are always dry no matter what I put on them, and burny.  About 4 days ago, I decided to put some Frankincense in my mouth.  The next thing I knew, I was broken out in sores, bumps that are painful and itchy and are on my face, neck, chest, arms.  (I was putting Lavender in my mouth and didn't have this happen.)  Across my jaw line is a whole row of them.

I am sure that the oils are detoxing more of the residual from the parasites out of my tissue.  I just don't know what to do at this point to aid my mouth.  I was using LLV but my Ayurveda doctor said to stop it right now while in the detox again.  Also, yesterday I took one Zendocrine thinking that it would help with the detox - but I was so bad last night that now I'm afraid to take or use anything.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.  Thank you.  Janyce

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Oregano during pregnancy?

I would have to disagree with the timing on the milk point. When I was pregnant with my 1st, my milk came in when I was 5 months pregnant.  I was wearing nursing pads and everything.  Of course that's not the norm...but it does happen.

Even with the presentation, I would still use caution when using certain oils, especially when using oils during the first trimester.  My theory is always use caution...these are high grade oils.  Just because they're pure doesn't mean they're safe.  And by safe I mean - they're strong enough to do what they're needed to do with a very little amount.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] applying oil to feet

It goes into your blood stream in seconds so you don't need to worry about wasting any of it. However there are a lot of oils that could help with your sleep issues that cost less, such as serenity, lavender, balance plus many more.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] New modern essentials

Thank you so much Pat for clarifying. Glad that they have tabs available. It seems like when something is successful and works there are always those that come against it. So thrilled with the quality of Doterra and the way they do business with integrity. Thanks Pat for answering so many of our questions.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Rose oil

No, healing hands lotion is not the same as using a drop of the oil.

Anyone willing to share some of their precious Rose oil?  I would love to buy a few drops to have on hand for aroma therapy.  Came to me in answer to prayer.  :)

Re: [Everything doTERRA] New modern essentials

It was a legal issue, so doTerra asked Aroma Tools to not use our blend names anymore. There are however some section tabs that you can get from aroma tools, with the blend names and you can attach them to your book.

I was just wondering why the newest Modern Essentials book doesn't give the Doterra oil blend names. It is confusing especially to newbies to know for example what oil is the calming blend, cleansing blends, etc.  Not sure this would be the best edition to promote education for new wellness advocates. Just a heads up.
