[Everything doTERRA] Canine with diagnosed bacterial infection

What oil protocol (what oils, how many drops, often often to use and where to place oils) would you suggest for a canine who has not ate for 3 days and is vomiting.  Owner took her to the vet and vet diagnosed her with a bacterial infection.  Vet prescribed meds and canine will not take meds. Thank you.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Cystic acne/antibiotics

Purify has pulled out very deep boils and cysts. Immortelle is a good follow up for healing scars. Do lots of cleansing and get rid of dairy, sugar and wheat from the diet. Use coconut products in place of those. They are anti-fungal and helpful for the liver as well. Hormones can cause this type of acne and antibiotics will cause candida which will perpetuate a vicious cycle.

[Everything doTERRA] Extreme hot flashes 20 years after menopause

Hello there, I am new to oils. I have been studying them deeply though for the last three weeks. My mother still has terrible hot flashes 20 years after menopause. This is her only symptom. She says the heat brings them on and that is the main reason why she will not move to Georgia to be closer to her family lol. Other than peppermint and water spray mix, is there anything else she can use to prevent them from even happening. Shouldnt she be done with menopausal symptoms?  Thank you for all your wise help, God Bless!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Nerve Damage From Prescription Drug Medication

You can get epsom salts at the grocery store in the personal care section. I do from a half cut to full cup of epsom salts with about 6 drops of oil added to the salts, lightly mix them and then tossed into the bath. You want to put the oil on the salt so it will disperse in the water and not just float on the surface of the water. The espsom salts can also cause diarrhea/loose stools if you use them a lot. I would suggest one -3 times a week. Make sure you do not add "hot" oils such as deep blue, oregano, clove etc.

I was also wondering something. I was planning to bathe in these oils to Heal my nerves from head to toe. But how many drops of oil should I put in each bath & how frequent should I do it? Also I was told that I should pour bath salts or Epsom salts in with the oils. Where exactly could I get these & why should I use them?

The Clear Skin foaming face wash was great for my rosacea and I think it would work well for you daughter. She may want to do the GX/PB assist and drink a lot of lemon water. Full fat coconut oil is also great and kills bacteria.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Pregnancy and LLV, other EOs.

I think that the caution for the peppermint is for your milk supply, so you should be fine.  I was fine with it also.  The one thing that I found for morning sickness was slim and sassy.  I carried it around with me at all times and when the nausea hit, I would take a drop in my mouth and also smell it.   My nausea would disappear almost instantly.  I would sometimes be doing it every 15 mins, but that was fine.  It really was a lifesaver for me.

That is so encouraging that it eliminated morning sickness. I had morning sickness with my first for all of the first and some of the second trimester. Thanks for the information.

Why should peppermint be avoided during pregnancy? I know it can impact milk-supply if breastfeeding in some women, but what is the reason to avoid it during pregnancy? (By the way, I've not avoided peppermint at all while nursing and I'm still going strong with my 14 month old...so I'm a lucky one that doesn't have milk supply issues from it. Thank goodness since I use LLP for allergies daily this time of year! Thanks for letting me know what the precautions are with peppermint and pregnancy, I'm also going to research and see if I can find out why the caution with it.

Try to avoid Peppermint but when necessary, it's ok to use blends with peppermint in (Digestzen, Aromatouch) sparingly. Also, stay clear of Clary Sage.

Hello everyone!

Finding this group today was perfect timing. I just took a positive pregnancy test (okay, THREE positive pregnancy tests!) and now I have questions! I have a 14 month old who is still nursing and I have been on the LLV for a few months, I am curious if I should continue them while pregnant? Also, if the answer is yes--what else will I need to add (I'm thinking a folic acid supplement? anything else?)

Also, any general info about oils to avoid while pregnant would be appreciated. I'm doing all the reading up I can on everythingessential.me & my Modern Essentials book is due to arrive in the mail today.

Thanks in advance for your input, everyone!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Nerve Damage From Prescription Drug Medication

I was also wondering something. I was planning to bathe in these oils to Heal my nerves from head to toe. But how many drops of oil should I put in each bath & how frequent should I do it? Also I was told that I should pour bath salts or Epsom salts in with the oils. Where exactly could I get these & why should I use them?

[Everything doTERRA] Oils to clean car?

Everything I've read so far (4 month newbie) says oils break down plastics, so I wouldn't risk it. Try some microfiber cloths, like used for computer screens. They are great and don't scratch. Easily available from Amazon. Hubby might like them for washing outside of car, too.

Everythingessential.me actually recommends using it in drinks, dressings and Smoothies.

I don't recall seeing anything that specifically says not to ingest it. After seeing the EE website I began using it on a regular basis in my smoothies. I know many others who have done the same with no problems.

I hope you're able to enjoy it.

[Everything doTERRA] oil blend for wedding reception?

I'd like to have my diffuser at my reception in June. Any suggestions for oil blends that are universally liked or have positive mood qualities?
Thanks!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Pregnancy and LLV, other EOs.

I know of 2 people who have said that the LLV was wonderful for their pregnancy. It completely eliminated morning sickness and gave them more energy throughout their pregnancy. One of their dr's did state to take more vitamin D with the LLV. Lavender is great for swelling and for relaxing.
