whatever my family gets sick, I have them hop in a bathtub. you fill it with water as hot as you can take it and stay in there at least for 20 minutes. I also put in about 4 cups of baking soda, I get a big bag a Costco, and a cup of epom salt along with whatever or else you feel are appropriate. you can do this several times during the day. if you have a fever, get out of the tub as quickly as possible dry off and hop in bed. Put lots of covers on and you try and sweat it out. Little virus and bugs don't like heat and the very warm temperatures in the bathtub will help to kill bacteria or viruses you have going on.
we have been doing this for several years in our family and it makes a big difference whenever we start coming down with just about anything. Turn it into a relaxing soak in the tub and you'll feel great...some candles if you wwant to pamper yourself
