RE: [Everything doTERRA] Thyroid replacement

I'm on the same boat as your friend, my thyroid glands removed in 2007 and
was prescribed with Synthroid. I'm currently experimenting using Nutri-Meds
Bovine Thyroid (130 mg.raw bovine thyroid tissue) You don't need a
prescription for this. Problem with this is that I have to use a lot like
the maximum of 5 caps/pills. If your friend has no problem taking one from
pig, he may opt for Armour, a prescribed pill. He has to find a doc who is
willing to prescribe it. He must take thyroid replacement because he has no
more glands. Synthroid is synthetic and provides only T4 of the hormones. T4
is converted to T3 but some people have problems converting it, so if this
happens, the person becomes hypothyroid even if he/she is taking
replacements. He should also check his adrenals to make sure they are
healthy and functioning. The reason for this is: When one has been hypo long
enough, the adrenals has to work harder to compensate. If not addressed on
time, he may have adrenal fatigue. Sick adrenals also make one hypo. He can
use our essential oils( Basil or Slim & Sassy) for balancing the adrenals.

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] Thyroid replacement

I have a friend that had thyroid cancer and had his thyroid completely
removed. He is now on synthroid and is looking for options to possibly
get him off of it. All the information we are finding says for hypo/
hyperthyroidism rub the oils directly on the thyroid. . . So what
should he do where his thyroid has been completely removed?
Any suggestions will help.
thanks
