I have a friend who has a severe case of poison oak, including one
place on her leg where she was punctured by an, apparently,
contaminated (with poison oak oils) rose thorn that has created a
reddish purple welt about 4 inches in diameter on her leg. It appears
to now be systemic because new patches continue to pop up although the
initial exposure happened several days ago.
I have read that peppermint, On Guard and frankincense are
recommended. Any additional recommendations for a case this severe?
