The side of the bottle of the edible oils says the MG.  My Frankincense says "serving size 1 drop -- 60 mg"  It sounds like what you read could be referring to vitamins/herbs.  My OB told me to take like 1500mg of Ginger a day, but I found that using 1 drop about 3 times a day was plenty which would have only been about 180mg?  If was taking 1500 mg that would be 25 drops of Ginger which I think is probably wayyyy too much oil.  Check the bottles but I think they all say about 60mg in one drop.

According to my calculations, 250mg of cinnamon 2x a day is a little more than 4 drops 2 times a day.  This still seems like a lot to me.  Personally, I would start small 2x a day and see what it does for your blood sugar and experiment.
