I've had twinges in my knee off and on for years. I'm very overweight. But a week ago it started hurting so much worse. By the end of my shift on my feet I was hobbling. Yesterday I could not get relief from the pain. Even laying down hurt. I couldn't get to sleep for hours. I had used Deep Blue Rub on it, but it didn't seem to help. So this morning I went to the ER to see what was going on. Two weeks ago I had found out I had a broken rib and we have no idea how that happened. I was worried about a broken bone in my knee. The doctor did an x-ray and showed me that most of my knee has no cartlige at all. Please help. He's referring me to a specialist to discuss knee replacement. I don't want to do that. I'd especially like to hear from people who have had this same problem. Thanks
