[Everything doTERRA] Re: Google search doterra plus your city- is this phishing??

FYI I went to the address Kristin gave and it came up a totally different name! Just did a search for doterra in my area and the same guy comes up, his site is doterraoilsx.com. Looks like the 'oils' part of the mane was just left out. ;-)

What he is doing is using domain forwarding.  His domain name is doterrax.com, and then he has a multitude of forwarders set up that redirect people to his store from that search result.

I'm not real thrilled about it, and would like doTERRA to step in and request he not do this.  Whether or not it is unethical or against company policy, I don't now, but I bo firmly believe anyone who signs up from his store after searching for doterra in their area will be disappointed and this is a real disservice to those new IPCs or PMs.  I think we should all be concerned about that fact.  We want our new IPCs to be well supported and not be mislead from the start!  JMO

So out of curiosity, I decided to do a Google search for doTERRA  and my city, which is Henderson. The second search result came back as an IPC, who is using doTERRA's name in his personal website which is a direct link to his store. Thinking this was odd because I didn't think we could use doTERRA's name in our wellness store name, I decided to do another search for doTerra and a different city, Tulsa. Low and behold, the same IPC's wellness store is provided as a search result. So now this IPC lives in Henderson, NV and Tulsa, OK? Did another search, doTERRA and Anchorage, again this guy's wellness store was the second search result.

Am I crazy to think this is somehow a violation of doTERRA's company policies? Isn't this a type of spam/phishing if we #1, use doTERRA's name on a retail site and #2, create the illusion that we are located somewhere other than we really are to encourage enrollments?

Maybe I'm crazy to think that this isn't ok!
