I use certified organic cosmetics from ONE Group (Organic Natural Enterprises).  It was the only makeup I could find that is truly organic and ethical at all stages.  Please read labels!!!! So much that is out there is not pure or organic.  You must read labels.  Some companies don't make that easy. They don't put them on the website for example.  I was SHOCKED to see the ingredients of a popular company that brands itself as "natural".  Get to know ingredients on www.ewg.org (skin deep link).  There's also a dictionary on my website: www.goodskinforlife.com. 

Most important is what is going directly on your skin.  The moisturizer will create somewhat of a barrier between the makeup (according to an actor I spoke to about this) and skin so it is the most important thing.  For sure choose only unscented items. Perfumes can contain thousands of chemicals!

I know there's a lot of junk that goes into the stuff we paint our faces with, and I want to stop using it...but I would scare everyone to death w/o anything!     A girl in our neighborhood was diagnosed with MS a couple of years ago, and they determined it was partly due to the heavy metals in the make up she was using....think she was using mineral make up at the time, plus a lot of pan-cake junk for the theater stuff she was involved with.

Anyway, this has been on my mind for a while, and was just hoping someone knows of something good and safe.
