Bergamot and melissa are awesome for anxiety. Diffusion gets it right into the amygdala...the part of the brain that is reponsible for our fight or flight response.
Vetiver and balance is excellent for panic.
Dr hill says to apply the oils right behind the ears on the bone between the back of the neck and the ears. This is closest to the limbic system. Or diffuse. That is quick also

I give it to my daughter (roll it on her spine) before gymnastics to calm her nerves....and every time i get worked up or stressed out in my job i roll some on my wrists. works WONDERS and smells really good too, in my opinion. The doctor gave me real xanax because my stress levels were out of control - said that would kill me quicker than anything else....but am happy to say i personally don't need it anymore. I keep this with me everywhere i go :) I hope whatever you try helps, being anxious like that is terrible for an adult, so can't imagine a child going through it. Prayers to her!--

My sister would really like to try some oils because she does not want to put her on medication. We were thinking about Balance and Serenity. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thank you so much in advance, it is so hard to see the look on her face when something is starting to bother her!!
