There is no smell at all on my laundry after. I also don't use dryer sheets or liquid softener. That may be a smell you are smelling.

Well, this is not good news!! Please keep us posted as to what doT has to say about it when they reply to you. :( I've not bought the laundry soap yet, but I was excited about it. Bummer!!--
