So some back story! When my daughter was 11 months old, she had RSV and was hospitalized for 6 days. A few months later her cough still lingered and an allergist gave us 3 different prescriptions. I filled them all but never gave them to her. That's when I found dÅTERRA and its seriously changed my life and hers! That was last June.
A few months ago we sprayed indoors for fleas (biggest mistake ever) and even though she was out of the house for an entire day (box said be gone 2 hours) she got pneumonia practically overnight and was hospitalized for 2 days.
Today the issue seems to be that day to day her breathing is normal and she seems healthy--- but when she runs around with her friends she starts to cough and has trouble catching her breath. Nothing horribly scary or anything. But it makes me think she has exercise induced asthma.
Since she's only 2.5 years old I really can't seem to get her to do a breathe cup and inhale like my hubby does. What can I do to strengthen her lungs? Does that make sense?
I've started diffusing Breathe each night and On Guard on her feet at least once first thing in the am. Thanks for any tips!
