Re: [Everything doTERRA] Preferred Membership Questions

The woman I talked to when I called seemed very knowledgeable and said she has been one of the ones who work full time and started a few years ago and said that there have been changes so maybe that is why your situation was different. My sister in law who is still a new IPC and wants to work on her own signed up a friend as a preferred member saying it would be the best thing for her and she would save more and get to do what she does. I don't ever mention the preferred membership and have never had anyone ask about it. Once my sister in law listened to my husband she realized the position her friend got put in and what she is missing out on. This to me just shows how we are all in this together and need to help each other but sometimes when people want to go on their own it is not always the best thing when you still have a lot to learn. I will have been an IPC a year this coming April and I still have a LOT to learn and really appreciate everyone's help so thank you all and thank you Pat for confirming what I already was going on in regards to preferred membership..

I have never used a SS number for a preferred member, I also don't offer this except in certain circumstances. Is there really an interest in this?

Hello,

I called doTERRA today to get more understanding about preferred membership. I learned a lot that I did not know from the sheets and information I have read so far. I did not know that they did not have to give their social security number or that they would have to go to the person who signed them up's website to order using their IPC number and PIN number. I also did not know that they would not receive a virtual office and would have to call customer service each month to change or cancel an order or LRP order or they would get the LPR order shipped the next month. With all that said, what experiences do you all have when you sign up a preferred member? Pro's and cons? Do they eventually become IPCs?

Thanks!
