I have back problems, two past surgeries, and when I am really bad, I use nicole stevens pain protocol she suggested for cancer patients: white fir and frankincense topically AND 12 drops of wintergreen, 8 drops of helicrysm, 8 drops of vetiver in capsules. It is AMAZING and the pain relief is better than a steroid shot, for sure. Sometimes I just use wintergreen and frankincense topically, but when I am really hurting , I use the first one. just make sure you aren't allergic to aspirin. If you are, then you should take winteregreen internally because it will react the same way in body. Good luck.
