[Everything doTERRA] Cat with Ear Yeast INfection

I am new to doTERRA so lots to learn! 

I have a 17-year old Siamese/Persian cat with recurring ear infections...not mites...and nothing the vet has tried works....his ear is stinky, like sour cabbbage, so I am going to say yeast...what can I safely use in his ear to relieve the itching and pain that this yeast is causing him?
