[Everything doTERRA] Candida and antibiotics

I have had cataract surgery on my left eye.  I take three eye drops four times a day 2 days before the surgery and 7 days after--antibiotic (ciprofloxacin), anti-inflammatory (Ketorolac), and a steroid (prednisilone acetate); and then wean off the drops for another two weeks.  This is just one eye.  This process repeats a week later for the other eye, so there is an overlap overlap where I am doing the drops in both eyes 4 times a day.

I have had problems with yeast overgrowth in the past and am trying to avoid that again.  I am concerned that taking antibiotics this long will encourage yeast growth, so I have been taking  GX Assist and PB Assist at the same time twice a day hoping to control this.  (I remembered a post on Nov 27 which said, "Dr. Lawton's candida cleanse suggests using both GX ASSIST and PB ASSIST at the same time.  Dr. Hill suggests using the GX ASSIST followed by the PB ASSIST.")

Am I correct in taking both at the same time?  I have some loose stools, gas and "rumbles" in my intestines and can't tell if this is caused by the GX Assist cleansing or whether the yeast is getting out of hand. :(

I am going the surgery route because my vision is so poor I can't see and it isn't safe for me to drive.  The doctors assure me that they have known of no cases where cataracts have dissolved.  Perhaps they could be kept from getting worse, but not cured.

Happily, the first eye now has 20/20 vision. :)
