My uncle also has no large intestine...he was concerned about whether
or not he would be able to absorb the nutrients b/c sometimes food
runs straight thru him...however I will note that he has no weight
loss issues and is at a very healthy weight now (he had lost a LOT of
weight just after his initial surgeries several years ago...he had
ulcerative colitis & had to have a colostomy bag for about a yr until
the surgery could be reversed and his small intestine restructured to
act as lg intestine)...he has just begun to take the supplements this
month. He and I talked about the absorption prior to him ordering them
and decided that he was obviously absorbing enough nutrients from his
food in order to maintain a VERY active life and b/c the LLV is in
food matrix we felt his body would treat it as such...
