[Everything doTERRA] DoTERRA's Return Policy Effective 3/1/2012

There has been a lot of questions about DoTERRA's Return Policy, I found this this morning. Effective March 1, 2012

Effective Date: March 1, 2012
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 22 of the Policy Manual, that the following changes will be made to the dōTERRA Return Policy, effective March 1, 2012. This Notice is posted at www.doTERRA.com beginning January 27, 2012. Pursuant to Section 22 of the Policy Manual, Independent Product Consultants (IPCs) agree that thirty days after publication of this notice, that this modification becomes effective and is automatically incorporated into the Contract between the Company and its IPC as an effective and binding provision. By continuing to act as an IPC, or engaging in any Distributorship Activity, including purchasing products, after the amendments or modifications have become effective, an IPC acknowledges acceptance of the new Contract terms:
Amendments and Modifications: Section 12: A-C of the Return Policy is hereby modified to read:
Definition: 'Currently Marketable' – product returned in an unopened, reasonably sound, unaltered, and resalable condition. Products shall not be considered 'Currently Marketable' if the Company discloses prior to purchase that products are seasonal, discontinued, limited time offers (LTO) or special promotion products not subject to the Return Policy.

Within 30 days of purchase:
 dōTERRA will refund one hundred percent (100%) of the purchase price (plus applicable tax if prepaid) of 'Currently Marketable' products that are returned by an IPC within thirty (30) days of purchase from the Company; less shipping costs and paid Bonuses
 dōTERRA will provide a product credit of one hundred percent (100%) of the purchase price (plus applicable tax if prepaid) or a product refund of ninety percent (90%) of the purchase price (plus applicable tax if prepaid) on products not 'Currently Marketable' that are returned by an IPC within (30) days of purchase; less shipping costs and paid Bonuses

31 days to 90 days of purchase:
 After thirty (30) days and up to ninety (90) days from the date of purchase, dōTERRA will provide a product credit of one hundred percent (100%) or a refund of ninety percent (90%) of the purchase price (plus applicable tax if prepaid) on 'Currently Marketable' products that are returned by an IPC; less shipping costs and paid Bonuses. Excludes LTO and expired items.

91 days to One year of purchase:
 After 91 days and up to twelve (12) months from the date of purchase, dōTERRA will provide a product credit of ninety (90%) or a refund of (90%) of the purchase price (plus applicable tax if prepaid) on 'Currently Marketable' products that are returned by an IPC; less shipping costs and paid Bonuses. Excludes LTO and expired items.
