[Everything doTERRA] Re: Does diffusing cause issues?

Hi Pari,

The authorities found black mold in the rental home of a friend of mine back in Spokane, and literally the tenants of the building were evicted and out of there within 24 hours, leaving basically everything they owned in their apartments, and I mean everything! (clothing, furniture, etc.) Insurance on the building was forced to reimburse/replace the tenants' loss, and they were given help finding new places to live.

Dampness leads to mold, and both can be really bad for respiratory problems. It wasn't the oils!

Here are several articles about dampness and mold and the problems, and these are not from random blog sites, these are from credible health organizations and agencies:

CDC (Center for Disease Control): http://www.cdc.gov/mold/dampness_facts.htm

Lawrence Berkeley National Research Lab:  http://www.iaqscience.lbl.gov/dampness-risks-house.html

National Institutes of Health:  http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3114807/

American Lung Association:  http://www.lung.org/healthy-air/home/resources/mold-and-dampness.html

Environmental Health Journal (scroll down for the content of the article):  http://www.ehjournal.net/content/9/1/72

Additionally, yes, continue diffusing on guard, but also, she can make a spray bottle with 8 to 10 drops of on guard, plus 8 to 10 drops of purify in a spray bottle with water to fill (then shake well before using). Then she can spray that on surfaces, in corners, in the dampest areas, etc. for a specific kill of germs and mold in those places.

Good luck,
Liz
