Thanks much....

We do rescue (breed specific) for Italian Greyhounds.  A few weeks ago one of our newbies showed signs of severe gastric distress (HGE) common to IG's.  I immediately gave him 1/2 tab. of doggie flagil and within hours he had a BAD seizure.  I doused him with Frank and serenity between the toes, his ear tips  and massaged Frank down his spine.  I spent the day either at the vet clinic or specialist,  They wanted to start him on phenobarbital immediately.  I said I would try my remedy first and get back with them later.  I applied the Frank and serenity 2 times a day for a week, researched the drugs I gave him and found seizures to be one of the side effects of metronidazole (flagil).  He has not had a seizure since.  I keep both bottles where anyone in my family can find them and they all know the protocol.
