[Everything doTERRA] Help with after effects of West Nile in middle aged gentleman

I need help for someone with West Nile.  This gentleman contracted the virus in August. The fever has gone now, and the doctors are saying the virus his kind of run its course, but he has been left with some paralysis on his left side, extreme fatigue and difficulty breathing.  Doctors do not offer much hope of improvement for him.  This is very scary for him.  

We have the new on guard + (which I wish he could have started taking two months ago). My question is --  how much will it help with the after effects?  Or is it too late for on guard plus?  I'm trying to figure out what products are likely to have the biggest impact at this stage.  

Pat?  Do you have suggestions?  Frankincense for the paralysis?  Or something else?  Applied to brain stem area?  He is in another state, so I can't offer an aromatouch, unfortunately.

I appreciate all suggestions and ideas.
