Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: ON Guard for cleaning my classrooms

As always, I manage to confuse "bacteria" and "virus". I was getting a bit excited that there was new research for the virus, but having re-read Pat's comment, she didn't mention virus at all.

So Shelly, OnGuard cleaner would kill the bacteria, but any viruses (e.g. airborne) would continue to be there (say if a diffuser was used in the school), but would be inhibited, and unable to really affect anyone?

Think I need to have my wife explain the science to me again....

"Kill" or just inhibit/suppress the virus? Previous research showed that the virus was inhibited. Is there new research that proves it kills the virus?

We just finished hearing from a research scientist and they have proven OnGuard kills bacteria, including the super bugs.

Thank you.  If you hear of more from your conference, or if they have applied for an EPA registration, please update this post for me, I would really appreciate it.

Dear Fudge,

I have attached doTERRA's Scientific Advisory Board's report that includes a report from a microbiologist by the name of  Jennifer Eddins with 21 years of experience in a hospital setting; her report focuses on doTERRA's On Guard blend and she found that only 3 drops of this powerful blend in 32 ounces of water kills MRSA on surfaces for up to 7 days!  (Focus on page 4)   You will also want to look at the research done by Nicole Stephens in the same publication as she measured several of doTERRA's oils against 6 nasty bacteria and found that 10 out of 11 showed some inhibition of multiple microorganisma.  Lastly, the article mentioned above on On Guard is cited showing 90% effectiveness against the H1N1 virus!  This blend interferes with the protein replication of the virus and its communication system.  I am sure we will be hearing more about this next week at our annual conference and it will be very exciting to hear an update to this research!   Good luck to you and I hope this is helpful!
