[Everything doTERRA] seasonal dermatitis

Hello fellow oilers and holistic healers, I have a question and would
love your input. My sons girlfriend jammed her middle finger in
volleyball and the correction is to tape the middle finger to the
adjacent ring finger. She broke out with a reaction from the tape.
She followed up with a dermatologist that gives her cortizone creams
of some kind and the rash leaves in about 2 weeks. Now that it has
been about 6 years from that initial injury/insult she breaks out on
that same fingers and now hand and is spreading to the other hand.
BUT it only happens in winter and in the summer (volleyball was a fall
sport). This doc still gives her the cortizone creams which help but
still takes about 3 weeks now to be gone. I saw the rash and it is
red, dry, and had blistered on top of a blister and a small open sore.
It seems, according to her mother, that the rash is increasingly
becoming more severe and spreading. So what do you all think, is
there some trigger. . environment, psychological????? Cant wait to
hear from you. Thanks in advance.
