[Everything doTERRA] Re: Mange in Cat

The only way to use oils safely with cats is in a form called Hydrosols.  ALL the oils are toxic to cats. Even if you use tiny diluted doses, you are, in tiny diluted doses slowly poisoning your cat to death -- this is according to more than one DVM, an aromatherapist that works with animals (she uses hydrosols only) and another EO company.  I really wish doTerra would take a stand on this because it is NOT okay to encourage the slow destruction of many a cat's liver for the sake of sales.  I'm beyond through with this topic.  I'm outraged.  EOs cause liver damage no matter the amount... it's all a matter of time.

Do some research, google is not that hard to use.  You will find lists that are straight up poisonous, lists with maybe but, lists that talk about hydrosols... read, educate yourself, do not depend on one forum for your knowledge.

Hi. I have been caring (trying to live trap) a stray cat who I believe has mange. I read that it is caused by mites. It's also called scabies. I can not touch this cat, he will not let me. I am wanting to put oils in a tiny gelcap to treat it. Can I use ongaurd or does anyone have any other recommendation for me. I know I need to dilute and use small amount but wondering on how small of an amount. Please give me your thoughts. I can see this poor kitty is suffering by the way he looks at me.. Need to do something, while I am trying to catch him and get help. He is too smart to go in the live trap. :( THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! Andrea Ibach
