[Everything doTERRA] Re: Dog with extreme itching/biting. Need any suggestions please

Wow.....
Allergies to grasses and environmental? Is the food you are feeding a single source protein?
What about shampoos?
Check out a book by Kristen Leigh Bell "Holistic Aromatherapy for Animals". She's got some remedies and recipes with oils.

Hello everyone!

I have a small Poodle and she has been itching for ever.  I have taken her to the vet who gives her a shot that is so toxic she goes through convulsions until it gets out of her Liver.  I've taken her to the holistic vet who gave her Chinese herbs in powder form but it isn't easy to get her to eat it.  She has had this on and off in the past and seemed to be allergies.  A year ago we lost our home and moved into an apartment.  Since then she has been going crazy with this.  At first we figured out that the apartment was infested with fleas.  Had an exterminator come in with a "non toxic" solution.  She seemed to be better.  Then she started again.  The holistic vet says it is partiallly separation anxiety because I am not here a lot of the time.  But, even when I'm here, she doesn't stop the itching and biting.  I've tried everything!  I put Lavender on her and she gets sleepy and then stops but the next thing I know, she is at it again!  it is making ME so anxious - she sits near me and does this - and after a while - I'm like STOP!!!  I feel there should be some oil that I could give her that would stop the itch.  If it is systemic - what could help with that.  I need something that will FIX it, not just stop it for a short time.  Any help appreciated!  Thank you!
