You will find plenty of friendly help and advice from fellow sufferers , and maybe details of a local doctor who has knowledge.

Personally I pop 25mg of Nortriptyline a day and work on my computer while walking on a treadmill to prevent the pain of sitting down to work.
And every 5 years or so I have the lumps cut out.

I live in the UK and all the doctor's do is look at the Wikipedia entry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adiposis_dolorosa and say "not much I can do - next please"

The fever doesn't seam consistent with DD so your friend might want to check this isn't something else.

Alan

I have a friend who is suffering terrib ly from a rare disease called dercums disease.  Very few people in the world contract it.  He is wondering what to use for it.
The Lactic acid doesn't flush out of the body and he has lumps all over himself.  He feels like he has a constant fever.  Not even many doctors have heard of it.
Any ideas?  I suggested the LLV andBasil but would love to know more.

Also is there an email address where we can type in questions like these to Dr. Hill or anyone at doterra?
Janet
