[Everything doTERRA] Broken bone

My son had injured his wrist during a football game.  He had taped it up and continued to play the whole game because he was the QB.  I told him that we should go to the ER but he refused because he wanted to play the following week.  That night when we got home I checked his wrist to see what kind of shape it was in.  It was starting to swell with a big dark bruise.  I poured lavender first then doused him with deep blue oil and massaged them in with FCO.  Next i used deep blue rub and continued to massage his whole arm.  By the time i was done, the bruise was gone but his wrist was still swollen.  I also started him with LLV.  I didn't think that he had a fracture because he said the pain was underneath his wrist...so i thought it was just a bruised muscle.
During the whole week of practice he suited up but the coaches rested him to save him for the upcoming game.  Game time is when we really noticed he wasn't up to par.  My son said on his last throw he felt something snapped.  The next morning we took him to the ER and they x-rayed his hand to find out that his wrist is fractured.  We ended up taking him to an ortho-pedic and now his has a cast on for the next 5 weeks.
My question is, since he has the cast on and I am not able to put oils on his wrist, could he take them in capsules internally?  If so which oils should I give him? Les (posted for Les from EverythingEssential.me)
