[Everything doTERRA] Re: Sprain/broken wrist

I would investigate my Modern Essentials book and look for oils that have Analgesic and Anti-inflammatory as the properties. --combined these oils work wonders for the pain and extend the time in between having to add oils because the pain is back.  Wintergreen and Birch are both listed in the Modern Essentials book for bones which I am sure you are aware of.

I would look at Cinnamon, Wintergreen, White Fir, Marjoram, Lavender, Lemongrass, Black Pepper, and Peppermint if it were me.

I had a bad fall about a month ago bruising my lower spine and the muscles round about.  I never used any OTC pain killers--just oils and I am back to 100%--pain completely gone and back completely healed as far as I know.  My way to tell was when I was able to run again--since I couldn't walk after it happened.  I ran 2 saturdays ago and wasn't sore the next day so I knew the healing was almost complete.

We're not sure yet what it is but my daughter fell off a horse onto her wrist last night. Yesterday it was quite swollen but I didn't see bruising at that time.  I put on Helichrysum, gave her some herbal anti-inflammatories, Traumeel, put magnets and infrared wrap on and sent her to bed.  This morning it was still a bit swollen but there was also a large bruise visible around her hand/lower thumb area.  Put more Helichrysum on this morning and the other stuff too and Advil because the pain was bad and she had to open up at work.  No one to sub for her.  Someone else will come in around noon so she can leave then.

She'll go get an X-ray today but if anyone has other suggestions please let me know.  I am not sure if putting Helichrysum on it is a good idea if the bone is broken.  It may heal it wrong, couldn't it?

Thanks.
