Re: [Everything doTERRA] Car diffusers opinions

Never tried the ideas from Kristy or Heather, but I haven't been thrilled with mine, either.  I add oils when going on a trip, it seems to last a few hours, but rarely use it otherwise.  Might try the tips tho and see if it helps...

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Carpal Tunnel help

Hi,

I am a dental hygienist and have suffered with carpal tunnel!  It is not fun!  Deep Blue would be my first suggestion !  I agree with the wrist braces at night.  You want your hands in a neutral position as often as possible.  Try to avoid anything that requires repetitive motion.  Also try to avoid holding the phone with the hand that is hurting, that seemed to aggravate mine!!  If you google hand stretches for carpal tunnel you can get some ideas for good stretches. You want to stretch as much as possible.  A non oil suggestion would be acupuncture   When I was suffering with carpal tunnel I had numbness in 3 fingers on each hand.  I went to an acupuncturist for a few weeks and helped so much!!  Hope this helps!!

Thanks for your kind words and we did have a marvelous time. We actually took a Disney Cruise and had the time of our lives. Who doesn't like Mickey Mouse and all the food you can eat?
If I were using the oils for management of migraines I would apply to the inside of my wrists and the back of the ears. Give it a good regiment for two weeks and see how it does.

For instance the Zendocrine is a long term cleanse and is very gentle, it is a major support for the filtering systems of your major organs and helps a lot. It should not be causing you problems. The Cilantro is a great cleanser of heavy metals and this could be a problem unless you are only using a couple of drops a day, then it should be okay.
As for the Migraines I have no idea about your life but just the migraines alone can cause you untold stress, but the migraines on their own are usually brought on by stress, so I would suggest you try to use the Balance, Serenity and Elevation and see if daily use of these oils will make a difference.

I signed up the owner of a business first then we had to go through and redo everything for her business, which was kindof a pain. Great answer Thea. My husband and I attended Dr. Pappas' class at convention. (Each of us to a different time) I remember him saying exactly what you have explained.

However if the person asking is wondering about getting oxygen into the body's system the answer is yes they do that very well.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Do you have the book: Making the first circle work by Randy Gage?

The only thing that is hurting you is not finding out all of the reasons behind some of the ingredients.
DoTerra is very open to explaining the ingredients that they are using and before you totally decide not
to use them at least find out their reasoning.

At least our lip balm has a natural sweetener and not a synthetic. Our bodies handle it so much better and yes
it would be a better world if the addiction to "sweet" wasn't so prevalent. But that will not happen, at least not in
my generation.

So be open to doTerra and allow them to put in their 2 cents.

Thanks,

Some of my down line read the ingredients carefully

This is hurting us.

The bestseller hair oil at our health food store is pure argan oil,

no reason to add silicon.
doTERRA should not compete with hair salons, we have to be more natural then them.

I believe all the products should be as natural as the essential oils from doterra.
I sent a letter to product support and if you have any concerns you should too.
If we don't tell doTERRA about our concerns, they think all is fine.
I also don't care for the lip balm, the world needs to get of sugar addiction and our
lip balm is sweetened with Stevia. Can we do without "sweet" in the lip balm?

This is a call to action because I do love doTERRA essential oils and I want to feel

However, if stored properly (e.g. away from light, excessive heat, and oxygen) they should last a very long time.  Dr. Pappas reminded us at convention, that if you are really concerned, when your bottle is half empty, it is best to transfer the oil to a smaller bottle so that you don't have as much air in the bottle.

With my plug in diffuser, I put fco on the pad and then add oil to it, it really helps a lot and you only need a drop or two and it last a long time. :)

My friend has found some relief using OnGuard daily along with the LLV.  If you don't have access to alkaline water, do as much as you can to alkalize your diet and drink lots of water with lemon in it. Praying that you find the right combination for you!

My story is long and probably not too remarkable compared to some.  But here it is in as short a nutshell as I have.  :)

I was diagnosed with lupus nearly 20 years ago after struggling off and on with health issues since I turned 16.  Prior to that, I had two biological children, many miscarriages, and then a total hysterectomy that resulted in two emergency surgeries when the doctor botched the original surgery.  I was in the hospital for several weeks--I think 6 to 7, but I was unconscious and in ICU for most of that, so I can't remember. It seems to have been a fairly traumatic time for my family, but I have no idea why as I slept through most of it.  Thus began our journey of adoption--most with special needs.  Please note we adopted nine.  We also did respite or over 40 children whose parents were ready to dissolve the adoption.  This makes over 50 children in our home.  50.  Fifty.  Five-Zero.  It should now be clear that my children are not the ones who are impaired mentally.  This is not courageous, this is in fact proof positive that my parents must have dropped me on my head.  Moving on.  We adopted 9 children--some alone, some with siblings, some younger, some older.  Along the way, we lost our business multiple times, I had health problems that continued, and we seemed to have missed the line where they were passing out the finances.  Fast forward to a move from Utah (after 23 years) to Texas four years ago.  Shortly after our move, I decided to go to law school and was accepted on scholarship.  The applicant pool was a little shallow that year, I guess, but then I learned that like 80% of all patients with MCTD, I had been misdiagnosed with lupus when I in fact had mixed connective tissue disease, or MCTD.  No law school.  While MCTD sounded much more benign to me than lupus, I learned that it was not.  I had an overlap disease that included several autoimmune diseases:  lupus, schleroderma, reynaud's, fibro, sjorgrens, arthritis, and a few other goodies affecting my heart, lungs, muscles, etc.  It was debilitating and put me right into bed where I learned to stop kvetching and how to serve others with simple things--a blessing I would not change for anything.  When I got sick enough to stop being a victim, I decided to get my butt going and change my health.  There is no cure for MCTD and the medications were making me more sick.  I was not a fan.  About that same time, we discovered essential oils and what they could do, not just for me, but for my children with special needs--specifically one little guy with bipolar with severe psychosis, Aspergers, and OCD: one powerful little cocktail of fun!  My daughter also had a severe case of ulcerative colitis.  We had little to no money at this point, but decided that it was either pay the doctors or pay the organics counter at the local grocery and doTERRA.  We chose the second option.  A year ago my husband was literally run over by a semi truck on the freeway and though life flight was called, he apparently felt he had other things to do, because he is still walking around.  But it has been a challenge as he suffered a traumatic brain injury and other injuries that changed his personality and precluded him from working for nearly a year.  Again with the no money.  Apparently whatever lesson we were supposed to learn is flashing in bright neon lights over our heads, but we are too distracted and keep missing the show.  Also, just before my daughter had gone on a mission for our church and in order to help pay for that, I had chosen not to keep my car.  So here we are with no car, no money, and a new husband I didn't know anymore.  This is not all bad.  The good thing is that he has short term memory loss as well, so all the mistakes that I make in trying to adjust he just forgets and thinks I'm a much better person than I am.  While delusional, I am kind enough not to disabuse him of this notion.  Why should he have to adjust to even more?!  So to make a long story short--I am building doTERRA because in all of this, I found my passion.  I could spend a whole lot on why it won't work:  no car, no money, a husband who needs me, health problems that slow me down, blah, blah, blah.  But none of that matters because I am building and you can too!  I might be slower than others, but I will get there just the same!  There is NO ONE who can't build this business wherever they are and in whatever circumstances they have!  God has blessed me immensely and miracles are happening just a little at a time!  So go out and build, find a way, and enjoy the journey.  The destination is irrelevant.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Anyone tried the MITO2MAX yet?

Sharla,

Yes, I was already taking LLV when I started Mito2Max. I have always
had good energy and stamina but in the past several months, even
though I was taking LLV, energy/stamina wasn't up to normal for me.
With two or three Mito2Max a day I need less sleep and feel physically
more energetic all day long. Much better feeling like I'm used to
feeling.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Women's Phytoestrogen Complex... Is the soy NON-GMO??

Yes I can, the product designated as soy is really just a derivative, but they make us put "soy" as the ingredient. I wish I could remember what it's called, ( I need peppermint for my mental acuity). Also the derivative is not from GMO soy.
I am so on your bandwagon with anything GMO. They not only want control of our money they also want to control our food and it will kill us. I am in favor of growing our own food and buying from those who agree to have sustainable land.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Migraine help

Are you also trying the Balance? It makes a big difference and since you have a propensity for migraines, your detox will be in your head.  Not a pleasant experience but you might want to think about slowing down just a little.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Car diffusers opinions

I love my car diffuser.  I use about 5 drops and it lasts a couple of days. It lingers for longer but minimal.  I use different oils for my moods. I use the On guard a lot for when I have passengers - want them to be healthy and it is pleasant.  When I have sluggish mornings I use peppermint.  When I am anxious I use balance or serenity.  I don't always change the pads as I should.

For those you have bought the car diffuser you plug in and use a pad for the oil, do you like it? How often do you have to add oil to the pads? And how long does the pad last?

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Comparing shampoos

I love the new shampoo.  My hair is fine and thin and the old shampoo and conditioner just weighed it down and made it almost look greasy if used everyday no matter how little I used or how much I rinsed.  I have used the new shampoo and conditioner for a week with great results.

I know the new shampoo just came out, but has anyone that used the old one tried the new one? Which do you like better and why?

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Migraine help

I will give this one a try. I knew both would help but didn't know how to apply. I am doing ok right now but it is still early. I will update tonight if this worked for me. Thanks

You can treat topically just apply to your toes and it will go where it needs to. Use Helichrysum and Frankincense at least twice a day. Also a couple drops of Frank under the tongue will help with the inflammation.

I had foot surgery in Aug. after injury in May.  I had quite a bit of hardware put in my foot.  5 pins & a plate with screws.  It was put in top of my foot & my foot is in a cast, which covers my toes as well.  So my problem.  Lyrica was prescribed & for the first month it worked now, it is not working & it has made me incredibly miserable.  I can only reach my toes & maybe a half inch behind toes because of cast.  My pain is all the way up my foot.  I have looked up all the protocols for nerve pain & damage.  Unfortunately, it is all treated topically & of course I can't do that.  So I am asking if anyone out there has had similar situation & what did you do to treat this problem.. I really don't want to call doctor because I know they will just prescribe more meds.  Please offer your advice!!  I am truly in need of it!!

Thanks for the suggestions. I am on the LLV. Have done a detox. This month they are the worst they have been since Feb. I have had one now for 4days straight. Cinnamon made me throw up but then I felt better. I am on 2 weeks of the Zendocrine cleanse and cilantro. Thinking I will stop both to see if my head settles down and then try again. Hard to think straight when you hurt so much. Thanks for the suggestions.
