I understand how you feel. At times I feel as if I am spinning my wheels. However, I remember the story in the Straight Edge and the success of the gentleman in Beach Money. It's like compound interest--it grows slowly but at some point the momentum kicks into gear.
I also believe in the power of the law of attraction. I decided that if this was going to be a business for me, I needed to start focusing on attracting business leaders. So though I have yet to put this into play as I just decided it this last week, I am going to Focus and work on attracting business leaders who want to grow the business. I truly believe if you do the basics every day, that it will pay off. There are those who make a lot of money quite quickly. But for the majority, this is a 3 to 5 year business plan. It can grow faster if you put the extra time in now. It sounds as if you need this to happen faster for you. It's simply a matter of time. You can do it. If you want it faster you put in more time now. Don't get discouraged – remember compound interest!
Personally, I get a lot more one-on-one appointments than I do bigger classes and workshops. I am also starting to teach community education classes at various libraries. It sounds to me like you may want to broaden your circle and also focus on business builders. Which of the people you know would like to be a business builder? If none, widening your circle will be something you will want to do.
Hang in there and keep going! This really is an answer both healthwise and financially for families.
