Does he have a bruise starting in a ring circle around the bit? I would start him on the Lyme disease protocol. My son was bit by one. Didn't know it until he had full blown Juvenile rheumatoid Arthritis cause from the bit. If you want to know more particulars email me. It is a very long story. He was 13 when bit and now 15 and still having major issues. Will be starting the lyme disease protocol starting this week with my son. Just found it. I hope it helps.
