I try to use Stevia as much as possible, too.

Rachel, I have bipolar, ptsd and anxiety among other physical health problems including hypoglycemia.  I've gotta tell you... for me, it really is sugar causing most of my problems.  I haven't tried oils to help with this yet, but it is my understanding that Slim and Sassy or Grapefruit could help.  I also think that the LLV has helped me to feel more 'nourished' and to have less cravings in general.

I have found the less refined the sugar is, the less it effects me.  I went without white sugar or corn syrup for 6 months and it was one of the hardest things I had ever done, but it is possible!  Slowly start replacing things in your diet with a less refined sugary option.  Like there is ice cream called Purely Decadent that is made with agave instead of sugar or corn syrup.  Try eating dates instead of candy.  Have a fresh fruit smoothie instead of fruit juice or soda.

Kicking sugar has got to be one of the hardest things I've ever done!  And now I'm craving it again.  I'm going to try a cleanse with my next LRP order.  That might help too :)

Best of luck!
Emily

I can soooo identify w/the Sugar addition thing...I LOVE SUGAR not as
much as I did years ago but it is still my weakness...most of the time
if given the choice between some sort of chips/salty snack and choc/
dessert I'll choose the dessert EVERYTIME:/

I will concur w/Rikki S&S helps me w/sugar cravings A LOT!!! To the
point that I can totally tell on the days I forget to use it...I take
it straight 5-7 drops under my tongue, BIG swig of water then swish in
my mouth&swallow...I do this about 3-4x a day and I eat less period
but esp less sugar:) You may wanna try it if you haven't already...I
think Grapefruit is also good for this as well...I use it daily as
well and can tell when I don't;)

Hopefully this will give you a starting point. Oh and I use Balance
too esp when I start feeling the grumpiness/irritability/mood
swings:)
