Monica--The FSA was changed by the government a couple years ago. You can only use it for prescribed medications.
Kristy Skoy--I have a friend who wanted to use her FSA to pay for her enrollment with her medical/FSA MasterCard debit card. Her FSA covers massages, she assumed it would cover wellness products & doTerra is a wellness company...or so one would think. It turns out the charge was DENIED because the description for the charge is MISCELLANEOUS FOOD STORE/CONVENIENCE STORE. I called doTerra member services to ask WHY doTERRA wuold be coded as a supermarket...they did not know, but were going to ask management to look into it. Darn shame that DT doesn't have a letter of justification that prospective enrollees could submit with their claims for FSA instead of having to get a medical doctor to write a prescription!
