Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Candida

Oh and I just put the oils in the capsule and then fill it the rest of the way with the VCO...

Cortnie thanks so much for the information.  When you say VCO are you referring to Fractionated Coconut Oil and how much?  After using Melaleuca and FCO on his feet and in his mouth for only a couple of days, he is now breastfeeding again.  Aren't these oils wonderful.

I'm breastfeeding and also have a candida issue. My baby has had relfux, but I started the candida protocol (3 drops melaleuca, 1 drop oregano,3 drops lemon, and VCO in a capsule) and she quit spitting up so much, and now she's sleeping through the night one month later.  I wouldn't do a cleanse while breastfeeding, but I take on of those capsules at night before I go to bed and it's done wonders for my little angel.  :)  Hope that helps!

I had a friend ask me if I knew where to buy coconut oil so she could put some on her babies hands because he has thrush that won't go away.  The baby is 4months old and has had the thrush for 2 months.  I went to her home to bring her FCO and Melaleuca.   I am having her do what you recommended with the qtip and putting on the bottom of the feet.  We talked about how her baby just got his cradle cap cleared up with Lavender and FCO and now has eczema.  He also has acid reflux.  The mother is breast feeding and is on Nystatin for the yeast for her but it is not working.  If the mother eats anything with yeast, diary, sugar or nuts, the baby is miserable.  I need to know what to treat the baby with and how often and what the mother needs to be doing.  Should she be doing Zendocrine before starting the cleanse?  Help!  Can you give me a protocol?  Thanks so much.

It is unfortunate that doTerra cannot recommend or comment on tests that they have not performed. Talking in private with a few corporate people I have heard comments regarding the validity of the spit test, that was all I needed to hear.

Over 90% of the nations population have some kind of candida issues. A lot of this is due to the type of food they eat. I could get into quit a lecture on GMO's, synthetics and hormones in our food. I say, shop the circumference of a grocery store and stay away from the center. That is called eating healthy!!

If you go to You tube,(candida spit test) there are lots of videos and one says if it lays on the bottom, it is also candida--as well as if there are cloudy specks as well as the strings.  There are also videos that challenge the validity of this test and it's being accurate at all.  My chiropractor suggests the same test. Is there any way someone could check with people at doTERRA  to verify this test.  I know symptoms often say more than a test, but some people like  proof before they start the whole candida protocol.  I know that other tests for candida can be very expensive, and I would like people to be able to put their $$$ into supplements and oils (as well as the diet) and not a lot of expensive testing. Pat L. Can you help us out???

So after teaching a class last week on candida, I decided to do the spit test. Is that really accurate and why? Cuz who needed 15 minutes? That was looking nasty and stringy within 3-5 minutes.
