Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: aroma ace diffuser

If you don't mind me asking whereabouts in Oregon are you?  I'm driving through there on Thursday.  Would love to meet anyone who is in doTerra!

The Lotus diffuser (sold by doTERRA) uses an ultrsonic frequency to
dispense the oils into the air. You place water into a little disk
area with drops of eo's. It then "shakes" it into a fine mist.

The Aroma Ace uses a nebulizer technology to atomize the eo's, without
the use of water. It also has little spouts that attach directly to
your 15ml bottles which makes for quick and easy use!! :o)

I have seen both, I personally have the Aroma Ace. But the Lotus is
more attractive.

Hope that helps!

RE: [Everything doTERRA] EO replacement for Prednizone

I think Breathe is fantastic and so does my hubby who just had a cold – he was amazed at how quickly his head cleared and was able to get off to sleep  without congestion!  We used Onguard as a spray in his mouth too and he’s been able to return to work after only 4 days – unlike others who are sick for 2 weeks and on antibiotics! He will now be a great advocate!

Have you tried Breathe?  I barely do the oils as a business but I've sold Breathe to two different people who just love it.

Also, take some Mucostop from Enzymedica (health food store).  It will liquify the mucous so it is easier to get out.  And avoid eating dairy and gluten!

RE: [Everything doTERRA] Re: aroma ace diffuser

I would wait a bit... just keeping it under the lid but I heard a rumor that doTERRA is looking for a new diffuser... :) just fyi... I do find that the aroma ace uses oils way too fast & I find that it does not send the oils out through the house as my doTERRA ones does & the other one that I got from Aroma tools... I like these two better than the ace... but I would wait to buy anything for a few months as I heard that doTERRA is looking for something else to sell, too:)

good luck,

Karalie,
do you find it uses a lot of oils fast? If you have it going in the kitchen
for example can you smell the oils further away or is it pretty much
contained in the area you are diffusing it?
I do have the doterra diffuser, but am looking for another one that doesn't
need to be filled as often to be used in doctors'/dentists' offices. I just
figure it is one less thing for them to have to worry about having to turn

Jan,
I would like Nina to know that I am very glad she is praying and taking direction from Him. Because of this it is a pleasure to talk to her about God's greatest gift, Essential Oils.

I would immediately start the LLV, but I would only take one of each capsule per day for 1 week and the 2nd week add another and continue this until you are taking the full suggested amount. I would also do the GX Cleanse and the PB Assist as recommended to clear you from the yeast the grew without limits from the antibiotics. You will need to do the full regiment of GX and PB, wait 10 days and repeat, 10 more days and repeat. During the cleansing and balancing protocol you should drink a lot of water with lemon to help flush the toxins.
I also would like her to try the dry foot treatment to help pull out the toxins, I have attached it, I can't remember if I corrected the glass dish temp. it should be 150 degrees.

Now, topically she needs Deep Blue and lemongrass and cypress on her knee area, this would also help on the shoulder rotator cuff. On the bottom of her feet she needs OnGuard and Balance daily.
AND, two drops of Frankincense under the tongue for 4 weeks.

She should also watch her diet, staying away from the sugars that feed the yeast.

FINALLY, with every oil, capsule and lemon water she should have positive affirmation to her wellness. Then when she goes back to her Doctor (or 's), she can tell them where her wellness came from.

Thank you so much for letting me put in my 2 cents worth, I wish Nina good health.

Pat

Nina needs much prayer and support.

Well hello again!

This has been an unbelievable week...month...new year!  On January 25th when I had my first knee replacement, I never dreamed I would have the second nor would still need "specialized care" at the end of May!  My second knee replacement and extensive ligament reconstruction was done on April 19th, and until yesterday I was still in rehab.  Three weeks ago my surgeon prescribed a new knee brace, one which would allow for 65 degrees of flexion to replace the immobilizing brace he put on me after my surgery.  This was never "delivered", so I remained unable to flex my knee at all.

Last Sunday I began very severe chills which lasted for five hours, culminating in a fever of 102.  Tests failed to reveal more than a urinary tract infection (UTI), so I was given a shot and put on antibiotics.  By Tuesday I was paralyzed from head to toe; I could move only my eyes, and I was able to speak. I was rushed to the hospital where after extensive tests it was determined that I had two very vicious UTI's.  I was given IV antibiotics until Friday when I returned to the rehab center.  By God's grace and by sheer determination I was able to reclaim the use of all of my muscles except my upper right arm - this being due to the tear I have in my rotary cuff.  Today I am raising both arms to the sky in praise of His goodness!!! SO... back to trying to recover from my knee surgery.

On Monday I was told that as long as I was in rehab, Medicare would not pay for another brace, so, on their advice, I left the rehab center on Tuesday and began home health care.  Today I saw my surgeon again, and he prescribed a brace that would allow for 90 degrees of flexion.  He also prescribed a power chair both for my mobility now as well as future needs.  From his office we went to the orthopedic prosthesis center.  It was then that I found out that Medicare will not pay for ANY new brace for me because I was put in an immoblizing brace following my surgery and Medicare will only pay  for one brace per person every five years!  There could be possibility of applying for this new brace but not if I am getting a power chair.  A choice had to be made, so I chose to buy the brace which is much less expensive.  Needless to say, this was a shock to me. . . $693 worth of SHOCK!  I had to pay for the brace and had no choice but to put it on a charge card.  The brace was fitted, and I am sitting here with my knee bent 90 degrees typing this update to you.

Indeed, I am on a journey, and today my surgeon did not paint a very pretty picture.  He believes, due to the high degree of radiation that I received as cancer therapy when I was 23, that my neurological system was severely damaged and cannot deliver the appropriate amount of stimulus to my leg muscles.  I have an appointment with a neurologist on June 6th to delve into this problem.  My surgeon believes that I will remain in a brace indefinitely, possibly leading to total wheelchair dependency.  No, it was not the news I wanted to hear today, but I KNOW that I KNOW that I KNOW that God is in control, and I am not.  He continues to lead me, provide for me, and allow me to exist for my good and for HIS glory.

I do not know His plans for the days and months ahead.  I think many things will change.  I am praying about the path He has laid out for me, and I ask that you pray for all of this with me.  Thank you  for your faithfulness to me through the years; your prayers have made a hu;ge difference and have literally carried me through some very difficult times.

May God bless you richly!

Nina

Jan,

I would follow Pat's advice, but may I also recommend to Nina, that if
she hasn't already, find a good physical therapist in her area that
can work with her in regaining motion and strength while her body is
healing with the oils. In-hopsital rehab is very different from
outpatient physical therapy care. Good luck!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Vanderbilt ER Oils Usage

I don't have those answers, but I know if you can reach someone at the ER there, the nurses said at the convention that they'd be happy to talk to other people about it.  I can't remember the nurses' names and can't get my hands on my convention notes, but I think their names are somewhere in the documents on the website.  Sorry I can't be more helpful.  I think it was diffused 24/7.

Can someone please give me details on the Vanderbilt Emergency Room Oil Usage? I have seen the power point and the news report, but I have some Dr. interested and needed more detail on how often it was diffused, was it 24/7? The diffuser they used looked like the one were it poofs the oils right out of the bottle. I don't own that one so I am a little clueless.  What setting was it on? They are concerned that it might be too strong of a scent, so I would like to find out, as I am sure they made certain that the scent was not too overbearing in the ER. Any help would be appreciated on the settings of that diffuser. Thanks so much!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: aroma ace diffuser

The people I have known that have used it said they went through their
oils fast & weren't real crazy about the diffuser. If you are set on
getting one, try e-bay.

[Everything doTERRA] hiccups

My baby nephew gets hiccups easily & in the ME book it says to use
sandalwood...applied it to his abdomen & it worked instantly! Others
say they just smell it & their's stops. My daughter used to get them
constantly as a baby, and a chiropractic adjustment took care of it,
but it's nice to have a trick to eliminate them fast :)

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Beach/Ocean Rash

My only other question is, do you have any trouble with silica? Could you be allergic to beach sand, which is made up mostly of ground silica? I still don't think it's an allergy to the sun since you don't have this trouble anywhere else, only at the beach.

Otherwise, I have to agree with a possible allergy to bird and fish poop, but then I'd think it would be inside your suit as well because everywhere gets wet.

Regardless, I agree with using the allergy mix. The "suntan lotion" I was taught to use by one of my friends' mothers was baby oil with iodine added...just a few drops til it turns lavender in color. Worked like a charm! All tan, no burn!

[Everything doTERRA] Migraines

I typically treat & prevent my migraines with clary sage (on my right
ankle) since mine tend to be hormone related. However recently I got
one that wasn't like my others & the hormone oils didn't work. So at
the peak of my migraine, I did a zyto compass scan & it said I needed
Patchouli, so I applied 1 drop to the base of my skull & instantly was
able to open my eyes & sit up & have a conversation. At conference
Dr. Hill said Patchouli is the number 1 oil for protecting your
central nervous system, so this makes sense why it helped, we just
can't always think straight when we are in pain.

I know there are many migraine sufferers out there...wanted to share
this since it was so powerful :)

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Beach/Ocean Rash

Sounds interesting! I also want to try the natural forms of sunblock
using oils & increasing certain vitamins. When I used sunblock it
made things worse because it clogs the pores & doesn't wash off
easily. I will try that now & see if it helps clear it up. It makes
sense to use our allergy relief mix! Thanks!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Eye Sty

My son gets these frequently. The hotter the compress, the faster it
goes away. We usually have him hold it as long as he can & as hot as
he can tolerate. Then I also apply Purify to his toe that coordinates
with the reflex point, and apply Melaleuca to the cheek bone. Works
great!

Where do I buy an aroma ace diffuser from? Doterra used to sell them, any reason they stopped? Tell me the difference between the one I currently use which is the doterra one and the aroma ace. What are the benefits of the aroma ace? Thanks!!!!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: A friend in need of oil advise

Jan,

I would follow Pat's advice, but may I also recommend to Nina, that if
she hasn't already, find a good physical therapist in her area that
can work with her in regaining motion and strength while her body is
healing with the oils. In-hopsital rehab is very different from
outpatient physical therapy care. Good luck!

I have somewhat of the same problem and worsens with exposure to sun
with/without ocean. Here's what I've tried that has worked for me: 3
drops of lavender, peppermint, and melaleuca in a little bit of water,
drink before you go out and try organic sunblock. sometimes, sunblock
changes it's chemical composition once on skin and exposed to either
sun or sun and water. the problem with sun and water is it also
magnifies and worsens UV exposure to skin due to the light being
reflected in water. also, you can try substituting lemon for
melaleuca. i alternate the two if i know i'm going to be out in the
sun all day or subsequent days. Hope this helps.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] EO replacement for Prednizone

Have you tried Breathe?  I barely do the oils as a business but I've sold Breathe to two different people who just love it.

Also, take some Mucostop from Enzymedica (health food store).  It will liquify the mucous so it is easier to get out.  And avoid eating dairy and gluten!

[Everything doTERRA] Vanderbilt ER Oils Usage

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Beach/Ocean Rash

I get it every time we go to Florida, Cancun, and California. I am
the only one in our group every time to get it. It's always worst
where I got more sun, like if I got a mild sun burn on the top of my
feet I will get a rash there worse than other areas. I appreciate
everyone's suggestions. We did put on terrashield before going to the
beach because of yellow flies. Thanks for trying to help me! I LOVE
the beach, but hate this side effect ;)

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Beach/Ocean Rash

My daughter seems to be allergic to the sand. She gets a rash most
places aftger a trip to the beach. I didn't have the oils last time we
were there, so I'm hopeful lavender & frankincense will help thisw
summer.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Beach/Ocean Rash

Where do you normally go to the ocean? I grew up on the Atlantic Seacoast, and we had nasty little gnats called "no-see-ums" because they're so small they're almost impossible to see, and they tend to love to be near seaweed. It's totally possible that you're being exposed to some little critter that you're not used to, especially since you're only having this in exposed areas, and it's not an allergy to the sun. I also doubt it's an allergy to the seawater or the salt in it. Try Terra Shield next time you go near the ocean.
