Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Out of Control Eczema!

I think eczema comes from more sources than we may think. I am almost 100% positive mine is an environmental allergy to the city I live in. I can go on vacation for a week and mine heals almost completely, and we take our same pillows, food (SO much food) etc, and usually within 12-24 hours of getting home I start blisters again. I've done cleanses, and topical treatments, and have just decided to live with it, because I absolutely refuse to use steroids.. Personal opinion I realize, and believe me, I KNOW how miserable this can be. It's been all over my hands, neck, legs, and even caused splits in the creases in my eyelids. I am so glad we are military so we can move fairly frequently lol I do use hubby's aftershave of VCO, Lavender and Melaleuca to help moisturize though. The biggest reason for my saying this is just to recognize that the rules may not be solid when it comes to this stuff.

You are going way to fast. As much as I don't like the prednisone you might want to thing about getting him comfortable and then starting over. Stop with all the oils, until he is comfortable and then you have to start extremely slow.
Explain to him the importance of slow and easy. He is very toxic and it will take time but it will be worth it.

If you get him comfortable then lets start over and build a protocol just for him. Get his skin comfortable, use Balance on his wrists to help him cope with this emotionally.

We are with you, the other suggestions are also good, learn to muscle test him so this doesn't happen again,

My husband has been suffering from severe eczema. We are just now looking into doTerra and trying to figure out if he will benefit from it. Anyone out there have any advice and/or success stories? Do you think he should begin with the GX Assist followed by the PB?

So..we just finished week one of the following:
lemon water daily
coriander topically mixed with EVCO
oregano, melaluceu, and lavender internally
no dairy
no gluten
Results: His skin is worse than ever. Very red, almost purple-ish. Skin is very hot. His skin is seeping. Rashes. Intense itching. I need some help! Is this part of the detox? Is he doing it too fast? I tell him that maybe it gets better before it gets worse? He wants to get on an RX of prednisone because he is sooo miserable. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. It is so hard to know what to do to help since we are so new to doTERRA. I read a lot and research, but I feel so discouraged!
