Years ago, when doTERRA was barely getting started, I had scheduled a class to introduce these oils. I knew that several of the people planning to attend had previous exposure to -- and experience with -- essential oils from another well-known company, as did I.
Not wishing to disparage products from another company (that is never a good idea, in my opinion), I simply took a trip to the local grocery store and purchased organic produce that was as close as I could find to the oils that doTERRA had at that time... If I remember correctly, I was able to find an organic lemon, organic oregano, organic basil... Some others as well.
Since (at that time) I still had my stash of oils from the aforementioned well-known company, I placed one of those on one side of the dish containing the organic "real" lemon, or whatever, and the doTERRA oil on the other side... Doing this for each of the oils that I had produce for.
When my guests arrived, rather than saying something like, "look.. These are better", I simply said, "Let's compare the oils from both of these companies to what we have here from the plants themselves. " Or words to that effect.
Everyone in attendance enrolled in doTERRA that evening.
I should do another class like that. It was fun and successful. :-)

Toilet bowl cleaner....Baking Soda, a couple drops of oil and Vinegar. Makes lovely foam so it is quite dramatic.Place water in a bowl. Add a small amount of baking soda (large mixing bowl I would use about 3 tablespoons in 4 cups water) and about 1/2 cup vinegar. Make sure you have enough room in the bowl for it to foam. I would try this at home to get the porportions correct before taking it on the road.

We will often put a drop of lemon on styrofoam to demonstrate how it will eat the petrochemicals. Please post any ideas of what you do and also the explanation you use during the demonstration. Thank you! Ashlee--
