Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: $20 Spa Vapor

Yes, I did run a hot water cycle through them and still did not have any luck.  I went back and forth with the company and they finally said that they realize that the batch had been defective.  They sent me out 4 new ones, I got them in the mail yesterday and they seem to be working OK.  They work best with just plain water, when I put the oils in for some reason the mist does not come out as strong.  I also don't notice the smell of the oils as much as I do with the whisper that I bought from aroma tools.  I am happy that these new ones do seem to be working better.  I tried the old ones again just for kicks and they didn't even turn on, the lights worked but nothing came out of them....  Good to know on the doterra diffusers, I was just looking into getting one, maybe I will wait.  The whisper works awesome but costs much more.  I do like that it has a timer on it that I can set to run for 50 mins straight or on and off for up to I think 7 hours..

mine didn't work either then I talked to someone at the convention and she told me that I needed to use very warm water, it works like a charm now :)   and for only 20.00 each I can buy one for each room.  I know they are not the same quality as the doterra one, but since I have had 4 doterra diffusers that have needed to be fixed after one year, I think this smaller one is a good option for us personally.

Look@ the above msg from L Fenton...which said it was VERY IMPORTANT TO USE HOT WATER FIRST...not to say your 4 diffusers were not deffective but curious tonknow if you did try this method of using HOT water first.

I know several ppl who own this diffuser & they are all very happy with them. No they are not the quality of a Lotus or an Ace but when the person using it is more concerned about getting doterra oils than a Lotus diffuser I think it is a good budget friendly alternative. :)
