Valerie, I don't know that much about it but it just seems to make sense that glasses or contacts would just distort the vision again if it is improving. I have Melanie Smith's program which involves some acupressure type exercises.  I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet since I have to drive a fair bit and really want to do it without the glasses for at least 4 weeks.  I have those pinhole glasses for times I really need them.   Feldenkrais and Bates also have vision programs that work.  The liver is crucial for our vision and where we store our emotions (things we don't want to "see") so another reason liver detox is so important! 

After experimenting with natural health for many years, I've come to the conclusion that we almost always need to do several things at once rather than just one modality.  In this case I believe the oils (In Tune or Immortelle) and some blue corn extract or acai or maquai or any other astaxanthin-rich product, plus liver detox (Zendocrine and Lemon) and something to open up the energy meridians (multiple choices for that!) will do the trick. Often vision failure is psychological.  I know of at least one case where a man had an instant improvement when he identified what he wasn't "seeing".  A full diopter!

I finally got to go to my very first doTerra event, in Vancouver, after about 16 months last night. Greg Cook was the presenter and except for myself and my guests and three others, the rest were all from the Asian community. There was translation.  I guess us Canadians are a bit slow to catch on! 

The raffle was a definite highlight and many products were given away. I won a bottle in InTune which is great because I just gave my extra bottle to my ADD/Bipolar friend.  I am really loving that product and I think it might be helpful for vision as well. Too soon to say but I am going to stay home for a month, use it daily, stop using my glasses most of the time and see what happens.  Everything around me seems much more visually clearer when I use it. After all we do see with our brain.  My friend won a bottle of Peppermint oil.

I was thrilled to be able to purchase the post convention kit which contains the impossible to get Hawaiian Sandalwood and Birch.  And what a discount!

Important* - Greg said that DDR is the oil to use for people who say the oils don't work for them. For when you're not sure what to use or the condition is very serious. I think this one should be on all our monthly orders.  Just because Fukushima is not on the daily news doesn't mean the problem is gone. It will be with us forever and slowly destroying the health of all in the northern hemisphere.  Between that, vaccines and GMO foods we certainly need to repair our DNA daily!

If you get a chance to get to one of these events, especially if you couldn't make it to the convention, you really must get out for this!
