[Everything doTERRA] Re: Toddler with MRSA abscess

I also wonder if it would be a good idea to place a warm, moist
compress (like a wet washcloth) on after applying the oils. Have your
kiddo sit on it for at least 5 min. (10-15 is better). If your little
one will sit that long, heat the compress up every 5 min. The heat
and water will open pours, making the oils go in even deeper. It also
may cause the infection to be drawn out which is better than it
festering inside. If the abcess does develop a head and open, gentle
pressure will push the infected fluid out. We went through this with
my daughter and I know it hurts (I am not sure who it hurts worse,
them or you) and they heal up much more quickly if the infection will
come out. The doctors told us hers was MRSA and a culture revealed a
"rare growth of MRSA"...She still gets little tiny spots (which I
think are something else) that come and go w/no medical or oil
intervention. We also gave her capsules w/oregano, on guard,
melaleuca, & fco (1 drop of everything but fco which was 6 drops).
That was 3 times a day for 10 days. We took the oregano out after 3
days and left it out for 4 and then put it in for the final 3 days.
Dr. Hill told me to do it that way since she was so young. I did not
think she could swallow them but we tried. I just gave it to her
fully expecting her to spit it back out and say that she could not but
she managed them fine. I did put a little fco on the outside of the
capsule also and I don't know if that helped her get it down but I
hoped it would help if any hot oil got on the outside of it. She
still takes capsules dry (even the pb assist which are bigger) and
then drinks water right after as she can't seem to combine the two.
**If you do end up having a head come up and open, (after you press
out all that you can) give a shallow, warm bath w/melaleuca, purify,
thyme, and on guard (1-2 drops of each oil). This will ensure that
the medicine gets into the area before the body does it's job and
closes it up. Also, clean the tub w/purify in a glass spray bottle
when you are done (say 12 drops in 6oz of water). I would keep this
on hand to use anytime the tub is used until the sores are gone. I
pray that you have great results and find some protocol that will work
for you w/speedy results. God bless you and your little one.
