Rather than making your own capsules, for the Cleanse/Renew just buy the GX Assist and the PB Assist+, the ready-made capsules make this such an easy cleanse. 

The only way to find out if you shouldn't take either of these capsules on your fast days would be to try it (but I'd do it on the day you're only taking one capsule. If you don't have any discomfort than likely you're good to go. The other option would be to just not take the capsule on the days you fast - you're only drinking water those days anyway, right?  You could at least add a drop of Lemon to your water to aid the detoxing.

I've had pretty bad skin allergies for the last 30 years. Sometimes they're dormant but when they flare up it lasts for at least two years at a time - pure misery. But thanks to the doTERRA cleanses those allergies are now under control. I did three straight months of cleanses though (I had a lot of years' worth of issues to deal with). So if you don't see the results you're wanting at the end of the cleanse don't be discouraged. When we've been living with an unhealthy gut for years it can take a while to get clean.

Here's what I did:

Month 1 - Cleanse/Renew

Month 2 - Zendocrine Cleanse

Month 3 - Cleanse/ Renew

I've actually done the Cleanse/Renew a third time but there was a break of a couple months since the previous cleanse that time.
