[Everything doTERRA] Re: Diabetes, Type 1

Dr. Hill says the reason you go 2 weeks on, 1 week off of oregano is because it takes longer to filter through the liver.  It is not "hard" on the liver, it just takes longer to process through so give that rest and then you can go back on.  If you are a child, it is 1 week on, 1 week off or so.  Just an opinion.

Friends:

I have a client who was diagnosed as Type 1 as an adult and gives insulin shots with meals every day.  She has been taking full dose of LLV every day for 3 years.  She drinks Slim & Sassy.  In 2013 she started DDR Prime.  When she started with the oils, there were two blends in the M.E. book and she was alternating them.  In 2013 she was off those blends for a while - she just told me that she started them again 5 weeks ago and she is seeing great results in her numbers being really low.  This is good news except that the blends contain oregano.  The blends were for 5 drops each oil and she "upped' that to 8 drops and is seeing these huge results.

I'm aware that oregano should not be taken for long periods of time but I don't know why.  1)  could you please explain to me why?  2) do you have suggestions as to what she could use to replace oregano?

She is so excited about her numbers that she is refusing to stop using oregano until I tell her why.... and what to replace it with.

Thank you very much.  I appreciate your help
