[Everything doTERRA] Re: how to treat anklyosing spondilitis

I have a girlfriend with AS. Would you mind sharing your sons protocol that he uses for his pain. My friend has noticed better relief if she sticks with the "Taste Great No Pain" diet...combination of foods. She is not a user of the oils on a regular basis but would love to put something together for her to try.

Letter sent to Jul 2011 to a doctor for help

My 36 year old son with a wife and 2 childrena 3rd on the way he has a decent job in Cedar City, UT. He has high inflammation in the back spinal area, which is under control with a very strict starch free diet. This was brought on with food poisoning last year also poor eating habits. Since 4 months ago he has had problem which escalated very quickly. Only thing helping him is a strict starch free diet. No beans, potatoes, grains, butternut squash, limited carrots and the list is growing. He also has candida and will need to add this restriction to his very limited diet soon.

Any ideas?

4th child arrived.  My son, nearing 40 yr old is recovering from such a dreaded this disease. By the way, the doctor wasn't sure how to really help him...maybe surgery,or  much more.
He is now back on some starch, still being very careful for any effects he feels in his back from the inflammation starch creates in his spinal area.
Pat has the protocol, using oils for the inflammation. He followed strictly the oils and starch diet (similar to Paleo, yet less starch than it suggests.) He has  improvement  greatly. He has been able to refurbish homes and garden and cut wood for his wood stove again. Before, to turn the soil with a shovel was more than he could do. What a blessing! Thanks Doterra, thanks to Heavenly Father, Thanks to a son who refused to give up!  Fatha
