Yeah, I'm super allergic to all NSAIDs (asprin, ibuprofen, aleve, celebrex, vioxx, etc). So, i guess I wont be using wintergreen like that. :-/ I've got LLV on order, but I was hoping to find something a little more fast acting. I'll just have to do a little mire experimenting I guess.

When flare ups are super bad, I swallow 12 drops of wintergreen, 8 drops of vetiver and 8 drops helicrysm. (Nicole stevens' protocol for pain and cancer). Just make sure you aren't allergic to aspirin before you swallow wintergreen, because the body responds to it like aspirin.
