[Everything doTERRA] Rash help...

My son has a pimple like rash all over his stomach - it looks worst in his bellybutton.  It is red, bumpy and has pustules.  Prior to the rash he was sick sick with a 24 hour bug on Wednesday 1/1 and we put a little digestzen oil (neat) on his stomach that morning.  He noticed the rash on Friday 1/3 after his morning shower.  We applied melaleuca (neat) on Friday and it didn't seem to look any better.  Saturday and yesterday (1/4 & 1/5) we applied lavender (also neat).  Today it looks a little better I think - less red, but he says the lavender burns when it is applied.  I'm having my husband bring home some VCO but am not sure what to think or how long to watch it before taking him to the doctor.  I'm not at all interested in him getting pharmaceuticals to treat this, I'd rather do it naturally.  I don't think it's a reaction to the digestzen since it was two days after applying it that he noticed the rash.  Could it be Candida?  It seems from what I can find online that Candida usually shows up between fingers, under breasts, armpits and in skin fold areas... I do have some GX assist I was going to start myself on in a couple of weeks, should I start him on it now instead?  Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
