Tracy with all due respect I would suggest you are looking at Aromatherapy from an out dated point of View ,
I have been taking Essential Oils Internally only from 2 Companies doTerra and before doTerra YL for about 20 years with no adverse effects
Be guided by the doTerra – recommendations and you will be in safe hands
These are the finest and purest Oils in the world to day – Yes there are cheaper Oils but not for my Body
Remember what you put on your Body goes into your Body

I don't recommend taking oils internally until other protocols have failed. Usually, you get partial relief using oils topically or aromatically, but not the full effect you're hoping to achieve... that is when I am comfortable taking oil internally.

Well, not this time. So, after days of trying all other options, (and believing that I was going to DIE OF THE SNOT) I started taking 3 drops OnGuard, 2 drops Oregano, 1 drop Frankincense internally - once morning and night. Still using all my other usual remedies. I took the first capsule before bed. I woke up with so much relief - I was amazed. AMAZED. So, while I still stand firm, that internal is my last recommendation - I firmly believe that it has its place. It took 5 days of internal usage twice a day to fully kick "the snot", but I fought the snot and I won! No trip to the Dr., no antibiotics... just, amazing.
And - some oils should never be ingested. Wintergreen, for instance. And you should know which oils are hot, and how to dilute with fat/oil in case you "feel the burn". I always took oils with 4oz of cows or almond milk, which contain fats that dilute the EO's.
I hope this helps you make your decision.

I would like to find out more about ingesting the Doterra oils. How safe it is... how about if you do more than one or two? How long has this been monitored? are there some conditions where it might be harmful? What happens if you don't dillutte what says you should dilute and you just drink lots of water afterwards? Is there anyone who has been experimenting for a long time with ingesting the oils?I would like to talk to you. Thanks so much,
Debra
