[Everything doTERRA] Re: Oils to use before or after nasal surgery

I have good luck with Helichrysum to reduce inflammation in the nasal passages. I usually put a drop on a q-tip and use it to swab the inside but I have just put it on the outside before too.  It's an awesome oil.

Tomorrow I'm having nasal surgery (septoplasty and turbinate reduction). No allergies, just structural problems causing obstructed breathing. The 2-3 week recovery isn't usually a walk in the park and I'm somewhat nervous about it.

I saw Pat's response about starting with OnGuard and Balance on the bottom of the feet before adenoid and tonsil removal and thought it would also be good prior to this surgery. But the tissue swelling inside the nose may be real bad for a week or so. For ordinary nasal stuffiness I'd usually use DigestZen on the outside of the nose, but is the right oil to use in this case, or would something else work better? Also, what about Frankincense or Immoretelle?

Has anyone had experience with using oils to help with recovery from similar surgery?

Thanks in advance,

Dee
