[Everything doTERRA] Re: Deep Blue and Warfarin

I didn't find a yes or no answer to using deep blue specifically. I would suggest asking a doctor about it. I found the following on webmd.com about just wintergreen.
  • Warfarin (Coumadin) interacts with WINTERGREEN

Warfarin (Coumadin) is used to slow blood clotting. Wintergreen oil can also slow blood clotting. Taking wintergreen oil along with warfarin (Coumadin) can increase the chances of bruising and bleeding. Be sure to have your blood checked regularly. The dose of your warfarin (Coumadin) might need to be changed.

Hi.  Deep Blue is used in the AromaTouch Technique and one of my team asked if the Wintergreen in the Deep Blue would affect anyone receiving the treatment who is on Warfarin.  I believe that Wintergreen is banned by the International Federation of Aromatherapists and the Federation of Holistic Therapistsfor and I wondered if anyone has any information or guidance on this.  I use the ATT on friends and family but my team member is an Aromatherapist, is recently Certified in the ATT, and would like to use the ATT in her Salon however she has issues with the use of Wintergreen.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.
